From Anchorage to Key West, the U.S. will get more hours of sunshine today than any other day of the year. Help us celebrate all that American solar potential.

It’s easy: Make a sign saying “I want solar here,” point it at a solar-ready spot, and then snap a picture your sunny mug.
We’ve made impressive solar progress. Just five years ago, the U.S. had installed 150 MW of solar on the grid. Today we have 33 times that – nearly 5,000 MW – from a growing industry that employs more than 100,000 Americans across all 50 states. But despite record growth, we’ve only just begun to harness our nation’s most abundant clean energy resource. Solar power still provides less than 1% of U.S. energy needs.
We’ve come a long way – and we have even farther to go! We couldn’t do it without your help speaking up for solar, so thank you for your support. Now go get some sun.

Well, its good that we are installing soloar panels as amazing rate. But, does the consumer is getting the credit back on the extra power that is being generated?
