The Foundation Officer will manage a portfolio of 9-10 current donors and is responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective foundation founders with the goal of meeting organizational fundraising goals. Working on close collaboration with the Managing Director of Philanthropy, Vote Solar leadership and program staff, the Foundation Officer will develop strong approaches to funding opportunities along with high quality reports, proposal and other materials.

Individual Giving Manager
Vote Solar’s Philanthropy team is in search of an Individual Giving Manager (IGM) to help us cultivate, steward, retain and grow our donor base of grassroots and mid-level donors. The IGM is responsible for the day-to-day operations, revenue goals, and other activities associated with Vote Solar’s grassroots and mid-level donor program (collectively, the Individual Giving Program). This position will have a dual focus on the acquisition of new donors and a smooth upgrade process from one level to the next. The Individual Giving Program at Vote Solar is in its early growth stages and the IGM will play a leading role in building and shaping a successful program. The IGM will report directly to the Director of Philanthropy.
Regional Communications Manager, West
The RCM is a new position created to provide direct support to our regional teams. This role will report to the new Senior Director of Communications as part of the Communication team, which also includes a Managing Director and Digital Director. In addition to writing and publishing a variety of communications content to support regional policy and regulatory campaign initiatives, the RCM will own the coordination and implementation of multichannel communications strategies. In their first year, this role will prioritize becoming an expert in our digital tools and gaining a deep understanding of our campaign priorities and how best to communicate them to our key audiences.
