Arizona Environmental Lobbying Day

On February 7th, hundreds gathered at the Arizona State Capitol in downtown Phoenix for the annual Environmental Lobbying Day. Thank you to the 250+ people who came out and called on the legislature to pass bills protecting our communities and environment. The attendees met with 39 different legislators, with several follow-up meetings planned. 

During the event, Senator Sundareshan, Senator Teran, Senator Mendez, Representative de los Santos, and Representative Stahl-Hamilton spoke to the attendees. And about 20 legislators joined our team outside to talk with attendees and visit the tables set up by Vote Solar and other nonprofits. In the Senate, the student groups in attendance were introduced to the Senators and invited down to the Senate floor.
