Managing Director of Finance

Anne VanDercook is the Managing Director of Finance at Vote Solar, where she oversees financial strategy, operational sustainability, and long-term planning. She has nearly 20 years of nonprofit experience, specializing in finance, grants management, compliance, budgeting, and cross-functional operations, with a focus on transparent, mission-aligned financial systems.

Most recently, Anne was Finance and Operations Director at Resilience Force, where she led financial management, operations, grant oversight, and infrastructure initiatives supporting workforce development and disaster recovery. Throughout her career, she has managed complex grant portfolios, organizational budgets, audit coordination, and process improvements to strengthen financial stewardship and sustainability.

Anne is passionate about leveraging finance to enhance organizational impact, collaboration, and informed decision-making. She is particularly interested in developing financial systems and reporting structures that improve visibility, strengthen cross-team partnerships, and support long-term mission success.

Outside of work, Anne participates in community theater and enjoys performing in a range of stage productions. She lives in Ohio with her husband and their pets.
