Regional Director, Interior West

As Regional Director for the Interior West at Vote Solar, Itzel Rios-Vega champions clean energy expansion across Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. A proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and a native Spanish speaker, she transforms policy into progress by ensuring historically excluded communities are at the forefront of the clean energy transition.

Her mission to build community power spans both environmental and economic justice. At Climate Power and the League of Conservation Voters, she amplified Latinx voices in the climate movement and built coalitions for change. At Civic Nation, she created federal debt relief programs that put millions back into working families’ pockets.

Based in Las Vegas, Itzel enjoys running marathons, exploring new travel destinations, and spending time with her family.
