Chantal Madray

Manager, Equity Partnerships

Chantal Madray serves as the Manager of Equity Partnerships at Vote Solar. She is an environmental planner, strategist, and weaver, with over 5 years of experience building networks/partnerships and centering DEIAJ across sectors and scales. Chantal supports the implementation of the national partnership strategy and accountability framework, rooted in the Just Partnership Principles, to ensure Vote Solar campaigns center frontline communities, communities of color, and low-wealth communities. Chantal is passionate about ensuring that those most impacted by energy decisions have a voice in shaping them. 

Prior to Vote Solar, Chantal managed programs and projects focused on community-driven planning, strategic planning, cross-sector partnerships, network building, adaptive program management, climate action planning, climate resilience, and climate equity/justice. 

Chantal holds a Masters Degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and learning about holistic health & wellness practices.
