Sam Prescott

Manager, Donor Engagement

Sam is the Manager, Donor Engagement at Vote Solar, where he provides direct support to our dedicated monthly and grassroots donors, connects our community through donor engagement and events, and provides support to our Foundations team by assisting with grantseeking and grant proposals.

Sam brings experience in nonprofit fundraising and communications, as well as political organizing at the electoral and community levels. Prior to joining Vote Solar, Sam worked for the Ranked Choice Voting Resource Center, where he led fundraising efforts and spearheaded the organization’s external communication strategies. He is also a graduate of Green Corps, the field school for environmental organizing, with whom he helped run a grassroots campaign for improved access to rooftop solar in the state of Arkansas.

Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Now based in Denver, Sam enjoys playing tennis, rock climbing, and exploring the beautiful outdoor spaces that Colorado has to offer.
