Ariella Sult is Chief Communications Officer at Vote Solar, where she leads national strategy to advance policies and narratives that accelerate the transition to a more affordable, reliable, and equitable clean energy system. She oversees integrated communications campaigns across more than 20 states, shaping public discourse and influencing policy outcomes.
Ariella brings deep expertise at the intersection of communications, marketing, and social change, with experience spanning advocacy and high-growth startup environments. Prior to joining Vote Solar, she served as Director of Communications at the ACLU of Indiana, where she led high-impact campaigns on civil liberties and justice, and previously held roles with Susan G. Komen. She has also led communications and marketing for a technology startup, driving brand development and audience growth from the ground up.
Originally from Mishawaka, Indiana, Ariella holds a degree in communications and sociology-anthropology from DePauw University and a Public Management Certificate from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI. She is driven by a belief in the power of storytelling to shift systems and expand access to opportunity.
