Sandra Sánchez

Deputy Director, Regional Campaign Communications

Sandra is the Deputy Director of Regional Campaign Communications at Vote Solar, where she leads communications strategy for state and regional campaigns advancing affordable, reliable, and equitable clean energy solutions. Previously, she served as Vote Solar’s Senior Director of Digital Engagement, leading the organization’s digital communications strategy and helping strengthen the connection between communications, advocacy, and public engagement.

Sandra brings more than a decade of experience developing impactful communications and digital campaigns for advocacy organizations. Prior to joining Vote Solar, Sandra led digital strategy at the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, where she developed an integrated approach across email, social media, digital advertising, web, and design to grow the organization’s digital presence and engage audiences on reproductive justice issues. She has also worked as a digital strategy consultant for nonprofit organizations, political candidates, and municipal governments.

Sandra holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies from the University of Mary Washington.

Sandra lives in South Florida with her spouse and their cat, Luna. She is an avid vinyl record collector, a proud member of the BeyHive, and a 500-hour registered yoga teacher.
