Chief Philanthropy Officer

Tess joined Vote Solar’s Philanthropy Team as Chief Philanthropy Officer in December 2024. In this role, Tess develops and executes the fundraising strategy, in partnership with the leadership team and staff, to advance Vote Solar’s critical mission and work.

With over a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising leadership, Tess is passionate about connecting individuals to opportunities for making a positive impact. She has a proven track record of driving transformational growth for mission-driven organizations.
Her expertise lies in leading philanthropic initiatives that advance clean energy efforts that help under-resourced households access affordable energy.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Tess is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management from Colorado State University. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, hiking, fly fishing, and playing golf.
