Coal demand in the United States has declined precipitously over the last decade and is projected to reach its lowest levels in the coming years. As demand for alternative forms of energy continues to grow, the needs of coal communities must be at the forefront.

What opportunities for change exist in Pennsylvania? How can you get involved and make your voice heard? We were joined by PennFuture, Coalfield Development, the Black Appalachian Coalition and Reimagine Appalachia for a webinar discussion about the present and future of clean energy in the Commonwealth!

Our panel of experts drew on best practices from other states to share a vision for a sustainable Pennsylvania, with particular attention to the strengths and vital role of the Appalachian region. Plus, we talked about how you can be a strong advocate for clean energy equity in the Commonwealth and beyond.
