Allison Kvien

Regulatory Director, Southeast

Allison oversees regulatory campaigns to advance solar and distributed generation in the Southeast — focusing on Georgia and Florida. Allison grew up in the rural, agricultural town of Tifton, GA. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Washington College and a JD from the University of Minnesota, with a concentration in energy and environmental law.

Prior to joining Vote Solar, Allison worked for the Colorado Office of the Attorney General where she represented the state’s Department of Public Health and Environment and was general counsel to the Colorado Clean Fleet Enterprise. She has also worked for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the Wyoming Office of the Attorney General, and Earthjustice.

Allison currently resides in Asheville, NC, and in her free time she enjoys hiking, gardening, and scuba diving.
