Naomi Sultana Young (she/her)

Foundations Officer

Naomi Sultana Young joined Vote Solar in September 2021 as our first dedicated Foundations Officer, charged with maintaining and developing the organization’s base of institutional funders. A seasoned philanthropy professional with nearly two decades experience, Naomi has held the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation since 2011. Previously she led fund development efforts at the northern San Francisco Bay Area environmental conservation non-profit Audubon Canyon Ranch, and at the international anti-waste organization The Story of Stuff Project.

Naomi currently resides in Sonoma County with her husband and two boys, where she enjoys hiking, biking, dancing and painting. She is a proud Appalachian Trail through-hiker and holds a Bachelors of Science in Communications from Northwestern University.
