Your contribution is put to work immediately supporting Vote Solar’s core programs. Our regional teams advance clean energy progress in state legislative and regulatory arenas, where key decisions about energy are made. Much of climate policy in the US is made at the state level which is why our team is so focused on progress in 26 states. Your consistent support enables our team on the ground to consistently show up and advocate for energy justice.
How can I stay up-to-date on the impact my gift is having?
As a monthly donor, there are a variety of ways to stay in the loop about what your impact is making possible. You’ll receive regular email communications from us highlighting campaign developments and calls for action. We’ll also send you our Quarterly Impact Report, annual work plan, and annual impact report so you can see the full scope of our work. You may also receive invitations to join us for occasional webinars or online member gatherings to share special updates and opportunities. What are my payment options?
The easiest way to become a monthly donor is by signing up via our donate page with a credit or debit card. Pre-authorized payments make monthly donations easier by eliminating the need for postage, monthly checks, and reminder letters. However, we’re grateful for your support in any form.
How can I change or cancel my monthly commitment or edit my credit card information?
You can make changes at any time via your own Funraise account or through the Funraise Donor Portal. However, you can contact Donna at firstname.lastname@example.org at anytime who will be happy to help you make any changes to your account.
When will I receive my tax receipt?
Monthly donors receive one official charitable tax receipt in late January for the total amount of your donations for the previous year via email. If you can’t find your tax receipt or have inquiries about your receipt, please contact email@example.com who will be happy to help you.
How can I see your financial statements?
Yes. We share our audited financial statements and 990 on our website as soon as they become available.
