Philanthropy Operations Manager

Donna joined the team in June 2021 as the Philanthropy Operations Manager. Working closely as a strategic partner with the development staff to achieve fundraising goals and initiatives, she serves as the primary administrator of the organization’s Salesforce system ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all data related to development, including revenue tracking, technology management, and end-user support. 

A twenty-five-year nonprofit fundraising professional, prior to joining Vote Solar, Donna spent most of her career working in higher education promoting alumni engagement and helping to expand university initiatives through philanthropic giving. Bringing with her a robust and comprehensive institutional advancement background, her favorite roleis managing the behind-the-scenes necessary for front-line fundraisers to succeed. 

Donna holds a bachelor in English from Kent State University, where she also completed post-graduate work in journalism and creative writing. She lives with her husband and cat, Oscar.
