In 2024, Vote Solar worked tirelessly to accelerate the transition to 100% clean energy across the United States. By advancing equitable policies and bold advocacy, we delivered major victories that benefit communities and our planet.
Together with partners and local leaders, we drove measurable progress in scaling solar energy and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels. Highlights from this impactful year include:
- Generating 12,208 MW of new solar demand, including 902 MW dedicated to benefiting low-wealth communities.
- Preventing 10.6 million tons of carbon dioxide
- Shutting down 14 fossil fuel plants
